LCI Awarded New Jersey Contract
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded Leader Communications Incorporated (LCI) the Laboratory Engineering Support Services Contract for FAA’s William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Atlantic City, NJ. This contract supports the planning and engineering for systems and facilities supporting current and future operational air traffic control systems.

“This contract gives LCI a footprint in one of the most important contract areas within FAA, with approximately 1600 contract positions located at the tech center,” said Sam Sammons, LCI Program Manager for this contract.

LCI was awarded this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract as a direct award under its Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business designation. A team of LCI corporate personnel traveled to Atlantic City to establish our New Jersey office and in-process our team of personnel who are responsible for interfacing with our customer to install, maintain, and document en route, radar, terminal, communications, and weather systems being tested at the William J. Hughes Technical Center.

LCI’s team of over 30 professionals provide Engineering Support Services including facilities planning, systems engineering support, infrastructure engineering, facilities maintenance planning and reporting support, engineering and architectural surveys, design and installation, engineering drawing and facility database support, inspection support, computer systems administration, and webmaster support. LCI is an ISO 9001:2000 certified; CMMI® (v1.2) Level 3 rated; Small Disadvantaged, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned information technology and management services firm who provides engineering, accounting, IT, and management, support to the FAA, Air Force, Army, Navy, General Services Administration, and commercial customers.

“With the establishment of LCI in this new market, coupled LCI’s successes on other contracts, we hope that the FAA will continue to choose LCI as a preferred service provider for future work at the WJHTC and other centers,” Sammons said.
