LCI Awarded Volpe Contract
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Leader Communications Incorporated (LCI) was recently awarded the ATCALS Infrastructure Modernization contract, worth up to $19M. The U.S. Department of Transportation, Research and Innovative Technology Administration, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center), Cambridge, MA, announced LCI was 1 of 3 award winners for this full and open contract.

LCI competed with small and large businesses alike to provide services to modernize the Air Traffic Control and Landing System (ATCALS) infrastructure by deploying and installing upgrades of current and future aviation system technology at United States Air Force Bases located within the United States as well as overseas.

LCI will provide support in the areas of strategic planning, architecture analysis, and system engineering; facility infrastructure upgrades; ATCALS installation; operational relocation; communication systems; network management; and network planning and system engineering.
