USAMS II (USSTRATCOM) Analysts, Engineers, and Support Professionals

Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid U.S. Government security clearance in order to be retained in this position.
Position Summary
Provide professional non-personal advisory and assistance services in support of studies, system engineering, and technical analysis to Government customers on the USSTRATCOM Systems and Missions Support (USAMS II) contract. Support provided includes, but will not be limited to, the areas of Program Management, Command and Control (C2); Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR); Space Operations; or Integrated Missile Defense. Potential employment opportunities are available in the following locations: Omaha, NE; Lompoc, CA; San Antonio, TX; Huntsville, AL; Barksdale AFB, LA; Albuquerque, NM; Colorado Springs, CO; US Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Utah; Ft Meade, MD; Bolling AFB, MD; Fort Meyer, VA; and Washington D.C.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and administrative assistance to include studies, analyses, and technical guidance as well as provide alternative solutions to Government customers
  • Duties and Responsibilities will vary with each position on USAMS II
  • Handle and use classified information in the performance of duties
Education and Experience
  • USSTRATCOM experience strongly desired
  • Specific education and experience requirements vary for each USAMS II position
Skills and Certifications
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance required
  • Primary duty skills and certification requirements vary for each USAMS II position
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with senior military and civilian leadership and implement proactive and creative problem-solving strategies
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ideal candidates are: Former officer and senior enlisted personnel who have provided support to USSTRATCOM customers
