Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid
U.S. Government security clearance in order to be
retained in this position.

Provide configuration management tuning and design for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) databases like Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. |
- Provide day-to-day management of databases to include hardware and software support.
- Support software installations and upgrades.
- Ensure databases and servers are managed in compliance with security and organizational policies and regulations.
- Provide database design and analysis.
- Provide subject matter expertise and reports and studies on assigned database topics.

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Information Systems or related IT or Engineering degree.
- Minimum three years experience providing database administration and management.
- Experience supporting COTS databases on UNIX Windows or Open VMS platforms.
- Experience with CMMI (preferred).

- Proven experience providing database administration in support of COTS databases for multiple platforms.
- Demonstrated capability to design complex database methodologies.
- Effective oral and written communications skills.
