Position Summary
Assist in the development and/or maintenance following: Spend Plans Cost Estimates Contract Performance Reports Contract Funds Status Reports Program Office Budget Estimates Triennial Certifications Financial Policy and Guidance Research Reports Financial Planning and Programming Documents written input for Program Objective Memorandum development fact-finding reports and other written reports on Unliquidated Obligations and Negative Unliquidated Obligations (ULO/NULO)Develop establish and maintain financial control efforts to ensure compatibility of financial functions with program planning
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and directives
  • Perform detailed comparison of current line values reflected by billing and estimating cost completion
  • Prepare and deliver financial presentations all in accordance with CDRL B003 and forecast funding requirements
  • Manage cost sharing arrangements for specific peculiar items for Government review
  • Participate in compliance reviews of contractor cost/schedule control systems IAW DoD standards
  • Provide support in the issuance of funding documents to other organizations and track all billings
  • Support subsequent Line of Accounting funding adjustments
  • Manage the documentation audit trail for pricing and billing transactions
  • Conduct financial reconciliations of transactions
Education and Experience
  • Fifteen years of cost budget schedule analysis operations research or engineering experience
  • three weapon systems acquisition in a leadership/management role is required
Skills and Certifications
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
