Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid U.S. Government security clearance in order to be retained in this position.
Position Summary
Experience as AWACS ART and/or ground maintenance w/ E-3 radar. Must be able to perform tests/measurements/self inspections of electronic/mechanical/computer nature.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work independently
  • Work as a ground/airborne radar technician (ART) with E-3 radar and IFF components
  • Perform tests/measurements/self-inspections of an electronic/mechanical/computer nature in accordance with military and commercial standards
  • Troubleshoot/diagnose/repair related product malfunctions using FFT equipment and onboard spares
  • Independently devise circuitry needed to construct a complete original model from electronic and electrical components units and assemblies
  • Keep Team Lead informed of work status and customer service problems
  • Support all LCI Air Force and Program Management directives including safety quality and security
  • Augment/support other project teams as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have 5 years of radar maintenance/radar operator experience working as a ground airborne radar technician (ART) with E-3 radar and IFF components.
  • Electrical/avionics experience working as an engineering technician with aircraft or training systems
  • Must work independently
  • Must have knowledge and ability to use measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes bridges capacitance checkers analyzers signal generators and other types of meters
Skills and Certifications
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Proficient in using measuring instruments
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs
