LCI Honored as OK Ethics Compass Award Finalist
Oklahoma City, OK, April 24, 2006 - Leader Communications, Incorporated (LCI) was honored as one of four Mid-sized Company finalists for the OK Ethics Compass Award at the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium Inaugural Compass Award Program at the Oklahoma History Center April 24, 2006. Finalists were honored for their desire to instill strong ethical values and promoting values of integrity. Oklahoma City's Mayor, Mick Cornett gave the keynote address. Michael O. Lyles, president and CEO of LCI, attended the awards program and accepted LCI's finalist award.

"It recognizes LCI as a company of ethics and it shows all our hard work and dedication are recognized by more than just us; by the outside local community," Lyles said about being a finalist.

The Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium (OkEthics) strives for Oklahoma to be recognized as a state that values integrity in business dealings, according to their website. OkEthics works to establish an environment for ethical standards and integrity in the workplace and uses the guiding principles of Service, Collaboration, Respect, Dependability, Initiative, Honor, and Courage.

"I think we have a very ethical company," Lyles said, "but there is always room for improvement."

LCI is a Corporate Member of OkEthics, and has been for about a year and a half. According to Lyles, LCI decided to become a member and attend the OkEthics meetings because of the current ethical workplace environment problems around the country. He said he was trying to find some best practices and ways LCI could improve the company. This nomination and finalist process has urged him to put a formal program in place dedicated to ethics to improve the company.

Lyles said he thinks it is critical to practice ethics, be honest, and have integrity in business, and that LCI has people with honesty and integrity. LCI's customers will see that LCI says what they do and do what they say and word will get out that LCI is a good contractor with which to work.

"The customers will see it," Lyles said about LCI's commitment to ethics, "It won't be something that will be subtle, it will be a big impact."
