LCI Kicks Off the OKSBG
Oklahoma City, OK, November 4, 2005 - LCI hosted the first meeting of the OKlahoma Small Business Group (OKSBG), a consortium of small Oklahoma-based businesses working together to provide low-risk, cost-efficient solutions to the Government. The OKSBG is also designed to allow small businesses to pursue larger opportunities by leveraging the collective strengths of several small businesses. LCI has established an OKSBG website at www.oksbg.com.

In 2004, Mike Lyles began working on a plan to develop a partnership among Oklahoma small businesses doing business with federal and state government agencies. Mike's vision, the OKSBG, is designed to provide much-needed assistance and mentoring to small businesses-including assistance with bidding on government contracts, guidance and support in establishing accounting/payroll/human resources infrastructure, training and guidance in supporting government contracts, and staffing and recruiting support. Along with guidance and mentoring, the OKSBG provides a support system for members to pursue large opportunities together.
